Spring Recess – 2 night weekend getaways for families in Stellenbosch

Designed especially for families, Spring Recess is all about reconnecting through shared moments on the homestead,
Arrive on Friday afternoon and settle in before gathering around our table for a relaxed wood-fired pizza night. As the sun begins to set, we’ll take a gentle walk to tuck the farm animals into bed before returning for good food and conversation.
On Saturday morning, join us to say good morning to the animals before enjoying breakfast around our kitchen table. Later, little adventurers are invited to a guided forest play session while the rest of the day is yours to enjoy the gardens, fresh country air, or explore Stellenbosch. We’re happy to recommend one of our favourite local restaurants for dinner.
Sunday begins with another visit to the animals before breakfast is served in the farmhouse kitchen. Check-out is at 10:00.

Food & Wine Weekend

A weekend dedicated to exceptional food, wine, and slow living.
After arriving on Friday afternoon, settle in before joining us for a relaxed pizza night. On Saturday at lunch time, enjoy Wijn Klas with renowned wine educator Katinka van Niekerk—an immersive six-course tasting lunch where you’ll discover the art of pairing wine with food. Learn why certain combinations work, how flavours influence one another, and leave with practical tips to elevate every meal. It’s the perfect experience for anyone looking for a memorable wine weekend in Stellenbosch.
Breakfast is served around our kitchen table on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
