Set between the olive groves and animal paddocks at San Gabriel Homestead, Olive Co-Sleeping Cottage is a spacious one-bedroom cottage created for families who prefer to sleep close together. Shaded by ancient oak trees and surrounded by lush vegetation, it offers a peaceful and private retreat in the Stellenbosch Winelands.

The generous bedroom features a family co-sleeping arrangement, with a king-size bed and single bed placed together to create one expansive sleeping space for parents and a child. A fully equipped kitchen and open-plan dining and living area make relaxed family stays easy, while the indoor fireplace brings warmth and comfort during the cooler months.

Outside, the private veranda includes a shaded braai and dining area for unhurried meals in the fresh country air. The bedroom overlooks the nearby paddocks, where sheep, donkeys and ducks add to the cottage’s relaxed farm character. San Gabriel’s shared swimming pool is also only a short stroll away.

Surrounded by olive trees, animals and the gentle sounds of the farm, Olive Co-Sleeping Cottage offers families the space and comfort to slow down and enjoy being together.

Life on the farm follows the seasons, so timings and activities may occasionally change. Any updates will be posted on the fridge in your cottage, so you'll always know what's happening during your stay.

Cottage Rules

We can’t wait to welcome you to San Gabriel. As this is both our home and a working homestead, we kindly ask that you respect the farm, our animals and fellow guests during your stay.

• Check-in: From 14:00 to 19:00
• Check-out: By 10:00
• Late check-outs are subject to availability and will incur an additional fee
• Smoking in designated areas only
• No parties
• No pets allowed
• Children must be supervised at all times
• Animals may not be chased, fed, or handled without permission
• Children under 3 stay for free in a cot. Please let us know in advance if you need a cot or high chair.

Cancellation Policy

This reservation is refundable depending on the date of cancellation and source of booking.

• If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the booking total.
• If cancelling 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit.
• If cancelling 21 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
• If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
• Our cancellation fee is applicable regardless of whether payments have or have not been received.
• Our standard cancellation policy is not applicable to group or exclusive use stays.
